Factors To Consider When Choosing Lithium Complex Grease

How do we select lithium complex grease?
We need to consider the following parts:
Operating temperature: Select products with drop points and high-temperature performance that meet the maximum operating temperature requirements.
Load and speed: High extreme pressure property is required for heavy loads; for high speeds, attention should be paid to the viscosity of the base oil (usually choosing a lower viscosity base oil), mechanical stability, and fluidity.
Environment: Water, dust, chemical substances (such as acidity and alkalinity)? Select a formulation with corresponding resistance (water resistance, rust resistance, resistance to media).
Compatibility: If grease replacement is necessary, it is essential to confirm the compatibility with the old grease (especially with different types of grease, such as calcium-based, aluminum-based, and polyurea) to avoid adverse reactions. The compatibility with the sealing material is also crucial.
Consistency (NLGI grade): Select the appropriate consistency (commonly used are 1#, 2#, 3#) based on the filling method (manual, centralized lubrication) and the type of friction pair (bearing, gear, slideway).
Special requirements: such as food-grade (NSF H1), low noise, energy-saving, long lifespan, etc.
