Grease Usage Precautions of Truck

Even if the correct grease is selected, improper use can still affect its performance. Please pay attention to the following details:

"Moderate" instead of "the more the better" for filling quantity:

Excessive filling will increase the stirring resistance of components, intensify heat generation, and even squeeze the grease out of seals (for example, excessive filling in wheel hub bearings will cause oil seal leakage); insufficient filling cannot form a complete oil film, leading to dry friction. Generally, it is appropriate to fill 1/2-2/3 of the component cavity.

Regular inspection and replacement:

Check the condition of the grease according to the maintenance cycle (such as every 50,000-100,000 kilometers or 6 months). If hardening, emulsification (water ingress), blackening (impurity contamination) or loss is found, it should be thoroughly cleaned before refilling.

Keep the filling environment clean:

Before filling, clean the dust and oil stains on the surface of the components, and use special cleaning tools (such as dust-free grease guns) to avoid impurities mixing into the grease (impurities will become abrasives and aggravate wear).

Pre-"preheating" in low-temperature environments:

In cold regions (such as below -20℃ in winter), the grease will thicken due to low temperature. Before filling, the grease can be placed in a warm environment to soften, or choose models with good low-temperature fluidity (such as synthetic grease with a high penetration index).

Differences between Oils, Lubricants, and Greases — A Technical Guideline

September 25, 2025

Understanding the differences between oils, lubricants, and greases is essential for engineers, maintenance teams, and procurement specialists who want to maximize equipment life, reduce downtime, and optimize total operating cost. Although the three terms are often used interchangeably in casual conversation, each has distinct chemistry, performance characteristics, and best-use scenarios. This guideline explains what each product class is, how they work, how they’re specified and tested, how to select the right product for an application, and practical maintenance and environmental considerations.

The Usage of Lithium Complex Grease in Industrial Field

September 19, 2025

Lithium complex grease is a high-performance lubricant widely utilized across various industrial sectors due to its exceptional versatility and durability. It offers excellent resistance to high temperatures, water washout, and mechanical shear stability. These properties make it ideal for demanding applications such as heavy-duty bearings, gears, conveyor systems, and construction equipment. Its multi-purpose nature often reduces the need for multiple specialized greases, simplifying maintenance and inventory. By providing reliable protection against wear, corrosion, and oxidation, lithium complex grease helps extend equipment service life, minimize downtim
