Grease Used in Electric Tools

Lubricating grease for electric tools is selected based on component type, operating temperature and load, with core requirements of anti-wear, high-temperature resistance and leak-proof performance. Common types and applications are as follows:

High-speed bearing grease: Mostly complex lithium grease or polyurea grease, it suits motor bearings of angle grinders, drills and cutters. Boasting excellent high-speed shear resistance, it prevents grease softening and loss during high-speed operation while reducing bearing noise.

EP grease for gearboxes: Extreme pressure lithium or molybdenum disulfide lithium grease is recommended for gear trains of impact wrenches and hammer drills. Enriched with EP additives, it handles heavy/impact loads, prevents gear scuffing and wear.

Specialty greases: Pneumatic tool grease seals and lubricates hammer pistons/cylinders to avoid air leakage. Fully synthetic low-temperature grease ensures good fluidity for cold-environment tools, preventing startup jams.

Note: Choose low-viscosity, high-adhesion grease and avoid mixing different types.
